The album is 21. The artist is Adele. The album came out in February of this year and it has been breaking records ever since. 21 is her sophomore release and it has catapulted her into superstar status. I actually had a countdown going until the day the record was finally released, which is actually one of the reasons I love this interview so much. More on that later. Her debut, 19 was released in 2008 and I have been a crazed fan ever since I discovered her on a little online radio station called Pandora, maybe you’ve heard of it?

It felt like centuries had passed since the release of 19, so Adele fans all over the world were anxiously awaiting some new tunes. Well, we got that and so much more. The interview is a gift because it’s a track by track listen of each song on the album, so you were able to hear clips of the songs before they were released. What more could you ask for? How about some insight on what each song on the record is about from Adele herself? Done. There are also clips of her recording in her home in London. It’s really just an inside look at the star herself. She’s hysterically funny at times but, she also shows her softer side when she talks about the heartache that inspired each of the songs. This Brit has certainly come a long way from being discovered online. Her music is now being played on Triple A, AC, Hot AC and CHR stations all across the country.
